If New York gave us 'elevated sportswear' then Topshop Unique gave us 'streamlined sportswear with eveningwear thrown in'. The colour blocking of the first few outfits, followed by tennis-inspired looks, worked well and all of the items looked Street Style ready. What followed didn't have continuity but it did have whack; the sheer and embellished dresses that finished the show were delicately elaborate and nailed city eveningwear and pleats for Spring were reinforced yet again. Topshop's front row was and always is full of London's coolest fashion crowd - those bardot-cut layered A-line dresses were some of the strongest we've seen from Unique and aimed right at that front row.
