Believe it or not, the weather has actually started to pick up here. Don't get me wrong, it's still nowhere near Summer (I wish) but at least the Jet Stream has decided to shift its bum and let us warm up just a little. I am looking forward to my holidays more than ever, but for now my dress code is strictly 'casual' as I'm headed back to uni this Saturday. But despite all of the above my outlook on Summer dressing is staying as optimistic as ever.
The little kick of blue in the outfit above has made me determined to persevere with one of my style resolutions: colour. I'm far too prone to going for monochrome pieces, as my mother always reminds me; 'But they're so practical' I argue, 'Dress your age' Mother replies. You get the gist. I am adamant that I will never shelve my obsession with white because frankly there's nothing wrong with it, but I promise to go bold and choose coral, burnt orange, lime and cerulean (a colour we all only know because of Meryl). The detailing on this Chloè top is really lovely (as is everything from Chloè's new collection) and freshens up what could just be another white top.
