MADISON

Saturday saw a little trip to Madison for dinner, cocktails and pretty sunset views!
 Yesterday me and my friend Hannah took a little impromptu trip to Madison for dinner and drinks. If you didn't know, Madison is the cosmopolitan, oh-so photogenic rooftop bar and restaurant which overlooks the grand dome of St Paul's Cathedral. Usually a regular haunt for City workers in the week, last night saw tourist types and London inhabitants (and us) descend upon the bar. We had a reservation for dinner at 6.30pm, so got there a little early to wander along the rooftop and take some snaps!  At 6.30pm we were promptly shown to our table by our fabulous waiter. Hannah chose the fish and chips and I chose the burger (naturally); both of us loved our meals - the chips were a personal highlight. For pudding Hannah had a chocolate brownie and I had the most amazing Eton Mess ever; needless to say the calorie counter was having a break for the night! The cocktails here were out of this world - I had a Madison Special (rose vodka and passion fruit) and a Pornstar Martini, both of which were amazing! Just as we finished the sun was setting, which made for some truly spectacular views over St Paul's and the rest of London! I'd definitely recommend a trip here to anyone who enjoys a good view and a good cocktail!
