It struck me that the Matthew Williamson woman has grown up somewhat. True, this is fall, so the hemlines are a little more forgiving, and there is not quite as much skin on show, but there was a more ladylike feel to this then there has been to Williamson's work before. As Maryna Linchuk opened the show there was already a piece that made everyone swoon; a multicoloured fur coat. Williamson's forte is cocktail dressing, and here there were several excellent pieces, my favourite of which was a cut away navy blue with a half peplum. Apart from that, the maroon sequined dresses with sheer overlay were also a big winner.
