The Shoe Moment

After net-a-porter's recent footwear action on the new stock front I have concluded that I am having a shoe moment right now. No fear, I'm still a bag addict at heart, but just for now I want the shoes. Especially the big clompy tribal number, and the raffia brogues, because let's be honest, pretty ugly shoes that make someone think 'eugh' are the best kind of shoes.

Mary Katrantzou's pieces sold out so fast today when they hit net-a-porter. There's something about these patterns that are so infectious. Cannot wait to see what she brings us for Fall 2012 in a few weeks time.

At the moment I have a real obsession with big cosy jumpers, and this Acne one I spotted looked so beautifully comfortable that it just made me feel like snuggling up in it and going to sleep. The skirts were really lovely; the Acne one in such a soft brown leather, and the Marc Jacobs one is just a breathtaking concoction of pink tulle. More jeans, as you can never have too many, same with white tops. I've been yearning over the Michael Kors chronograph for about 2 years, and I discovered that I save myself some pennies if I buy it in the US, so I'm waiting to go there before I make my purchase. And my make up's just about run out (uh-oh-for-me) so I need to restock.

I need to stop making wish lists because I can never get anything on them, but alas, I'm addicted. Saw some great pieces on net-a-porter this morning, including a Jason Wu tweed jacket (there were some beautiful Jason Wu dresses as well), some gorgeous Vionnet sandals, and a neon pink passport cover (and with my pending travels it's imperative to have a nice passport cover *cough*). Also Topshop keeps bringing in the good stuff, with this chic midi dress, polka dot shorts and backpack (all of which I shall be hunting down when I hit up Oxford Street next week). I then went on to asos.com and fell for a striped Whistles top (my mother is always telling me I need to wear more colour). Damn clothes...
