Finding the perfect party dress for the Christmas season can often be a headache. There's sequinned ones, silky ones, bodycon and maxi ones. Then you have to figure out how much to spend, especially when you know the Christmas sales will be in full flow not soon after. But let's imagine you have the perfect dress. What you need next is the perfect clutch.
This little selection above (all a steal at under £50!) are perfect for the party season and will be a perfect compliment to any Christmas dresses. My personal favourites are the purple French Connection number (currently on sale from £50 to £25!) and the pink book clutch from ASOS, a style we saw across the Street Style blogs back in September and a bargain at just £25!
Which is your favourite?

3. Blue Lock Clutch, £30 by Miss Selfridge
4. Beaded Clutch, £26 by Topshop

6. Glitter Box Clutch, £26 by Warehouse

This is one of my favourite looks that I've created lately. It has such a transition feel, an outfit that could easily go from day to night. Dressing it up with a piece of jewellery or a pair of heels transforms a simple cami and jeans into such a chic outfit.

New things for November. I love this top because it's one of the few I (now) own that can be dressed up or down. Most of my tops are either 'day' or 'night wear so this is a night change.
When the peplum trend hit the high street so many people had the same Topshop peplum tops that I couldn't bring myself to buy one (although saying that, every girl at my uni seems to own my leather jacket!). But this is boucle and not jersey so looks a little bit different.
I also needed some new shoes that would last and found these beautiful studded brogues. I'm so tired of paying for ballet flats that wear out quickly, so I guess these are an investment piece!

I love this time of year where we're between the mild days of Autumn and the shivering days of Winter. By the time we get into the cold period the prospect of layering possibilities is exciting for me, and I am a sucker for a tailored winter coat. I have had my eye on a Zara leather and wool concoction for a while now and am saving my pennies one by one in the hope that it might soon be mine.
For now dressing is strictly on a day-to-day basis; some days still allow a lighter jacket (I am wearing my biker to death right now) whilst others are too cold for such nonsense. But let's assume it's one of the milder days right now and here is what I would want to wear. A shearling jacket in case the wind gets chilly, the dweeb-tee (I am back at university and back in geek mode after all), and cropped khaki denim, accessorised with an Alexander Wang bag, Zara courts, and as always, a Dannijo neck-piece.
